Summer semester last class will be Thursday, August 31. First classes and registration for the Fall 2023 semester will be:
Thursday, Sept. 7 – teens and adults
Saturday, Sept. 9 – kids under 13
We look forward to seeing everyone back on the mats in the Fall!

News for club members.
The Canadian National Judo Championships and Training camp are coming up in May. See the link at

Please let Maurice know if you are available for the competition and training camp ASAP so we can book hotels and airline travel . A deposit will be necessary to confirm attendance and athletes will have to register online after verification of weight class, Group and category.
The online registration for the upcoming NLJA Provincial Judo tournament on April 22 in St. John’s is available now at http://www.judonl.ca/ . Athletes are responsible for registering themselves but do let your coach know when you do.
Belt gradings evaluations will be completed soon.
Athletes planning to compete at the Provincial or National tournaments should also attend all Sunday morning training sessions .
A Mizuno Judogi order will be made soon from Hatashita International. Let Maurice know if you are interested in ordering a judogi.
All athletes and referees planning to participate in the provincial tournament on April 22 should attend the newest and latest referee rules session on Sunday April 9 from 9:00-12:00 noon at the SJMAC dojo.
Other planning is in progress for:
St. Pierre and Miquelon trip for celebration of 60 years of Judo with high level competition and training camp
Quebec open international competition and training camp in Montreal before the Ontario Open in November
Possible high level training camp at the Dojo
