Just a short reminder that starting with the class on Sunday Oct. 24 any member age 19+ practicing at the dojo must provide proof of Covid immunization. This only needs to be provided once. If you have any questions talk to your coach.

Happy New Year to All from Fudoshin Judo Club!

This is a reminder that training classes start again next week. Teens/Adults start on Thursday, Jan. 7 at 7 PM. The first kid’s class is Saturday, Jan. 9 from 10-12.

It is important that you register online BEFORE attending a class! Please visit the Online Registration page on the Fudoshin Judo Club web site and send in your registration electronically before the start of classes. We encourage members to bring along a friend to try judo with us. Beginners are always welcome!

Important points for COVID-19 safety:

Members can only enter the dojo at the scheduled times and must wear a face mask on entrance and in the change rooms. The mask can be removed when moving on to the mats
For the safety of all, members must stay away if they have any of the COVID-19 symptoms or cold/flu symptoms
No spectators are allowed inside the dojo
Hand sanitizer is available in the entrance of the dojo and all members must use it when entering the dojo
Members must sign in for each training session on a club provided list

Training Session with the CNIB

Our team had a great time over the weekend supporting Sensei Grant in a trial class with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. We loved the opportunity to bring more to our community. We hope to see more events like this and would love to include those from the CNIB to our regular training classes.

This week we are being visited by two esteemed guests, who will be leading multiple training sessions from February 8 to February 12th. Those guests are;

- Mr. Mohamad R. Hassani, National Kata Committee Chairman, IJF Certified Kata Judge in 5 Kata, Rokudan (6th degree Judo Black Belt)

Heads up team,

With the expected snow fall from Friday thru to Saturday, classes scheduled for Saturday will not be going ahead. As of this point, Sunday class will be going ahead as scheduled.
